Akwaba Festival

The Akwaba African Diaspora Festival is an international platform connecting African, African diaspora, and U.S.-based stakeholders through business, culture, education, diplomacy, and exchange. Eric Schneider served as the designated program organizer for the U.S. edition of the festival (not the owner), facilitating its execution and leading U.S.-facing coordination, institutional outreach, and program development. He galvanized participation from U.S. companies and organizations—including the World Trade Center (WTC), Enstructure, and various diasporic organizations—helping connect African entrepreneurs, diaspora leaders, U.S. institutions, and public-sector stakeholders. The festival creates space for business networking, cultural exchange, professional dialogue, and long-term collaboration between Africa and its diaspora.
